	托福考試比一般大專英文程度要再深, 再廣一點. 所以如果要考高分, 勢必得先從基本工夫做起. 先將以往大學之前的單字,片語,文法紮穩基礎, 再進一步往較深的難度邁進. 坊間有許多參考書, 不妨試試. 認真的話,三個月應該沒有問題. Back to Top

	Actually, Tofel test is for students who are not native English speakers, or his "coutry" are not English-speaking regions. You have already got greecard , and it means that you are citizen of U.S.A. . Therefore you don't have to take toefl test to apply for college. But if you want, just try it. why not? In addition, you'd better get to know the assessment and process to go to college in the States. Back to Top

	"托福"重點在測驗非英文為母語著的英文能力,作為申請美.加地區大學或研究所之用 "SAT I"：Reasoning Test 主要是測驗英文程度及數學推論能力，測驗時間共三個小時。每種能力的最高得分為800分總分為1600分。考試內容: 主要為Verbal及Math兩大類型(口語與數學能力) "SAT II"：Subject Test主要是測驗某一學科的知識和運用這些知識的能力。考試內容: 主要為有英文寫作、文學、數學、生物、化學、語言與聽力測驗等二十三種學科。所以視欲申請的學校及系別而定是否需要考SAT. 而托福幾乎是必須考的一項測驗. Back to Top

	Now the Toefl test is Computer-based. (A)listening part: 30 (B)writing: 30 (C)reading:30 The total score is like this: ( A+B+C )÷3× 10= 300

	.1. 申請美國研究所,需先有Toefl 成績 Gre 則視各校而定, 不妨先確定欲申請的學校,再視其有無考Gre 的需要但是大部分的學校都要. 2. 申請英國研究所,不是考Toefl, 而是考IELTS . 3. 英國制的研究所為一年制 Lectures(課程)共9個月,再加其他非上課及寫論文時間 4. 非本可系學生是否需補修大學學分,仍需視各校規定,但大部分不用. Back to Top
